MAJOR RESEARCH ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• Intelligent predictive models developed by using machine learning, soft computing and bio-inspired learning algorithms with application to various live industrial problems related to dairying including animal production/ reproduction (pioneering work in Indian Dairy Sector); and food processing, quality monitoring and packaging
• Novel ‘weights initialisation’ technique based on the cubic-spline interpolation method, for training connectionist models
• The Android Mobile App, “NDRI-Milksafecon” – Salient features include farm record keeping such as farm inventory, vaccination schedule, treatment cost, sale records, safety and hygiene status.
